It is worn by Mapuche women to tie their ceremonial clothing.

The piece is composed of a compact rounded plate joined to the needle by rivets.

Elegant decoration: Motifs of a flower, grain and circles in a perfect embossing technique. And an old little Chilean coin riveted on the edge of the plate showing the image of the sacred andean bird "cóndor".

Superb "tupu" of consistent material, which highlights its impeccable handmade manufacturing.

The object accuses a beautiful natural patina by the prolonged use and passing of time.
